What I like about Draken too is that the music is fierce but not too macho, aggressive but not dumb. The most important feature is masterfull riffage though, and writing songs that stick in your brain and make you yearn for the time you can bang your head along in front of the stage. I seriously canât wait to see this live.

Someone say music is dead? Old Mine Universe just shot that statement down in flames! I donât know how this is a debut album, itâs ridiculously accomplished in every way, an astounding feat of talent. This is hard rock, with respectful nods to past legends, touched with expansive desert rock, throughout remaining intelligent, thoughtful, contemplative, upbeat. Guitar solos, remember them? I can hear Slash & Kirk Hammett. But every member is smashing it out of the park here. Turn up that volume!
